How to Create YouTube Channel & How To Star Earn Money Online ?
Do you want a creative job that offers flexibility, freedom, and the opportunity to be your own boss? Why don’t you become a vlogger? A vlogger is like a blogger who focuses on video content instead of written content. Vlogging is a growing online niche that has a low cost of entry and huge potential.
Vlogging might seem like an exclusively millennial portmanteau – but for the Saccone-Joly family, it’s a bonafide breadwinning career with unlimited earning potential.
YouTube vlogs are no longer simply hobbies or diversions. If you are serious about creating and marketing high-quality video posts for your small business on a regular basis, then you could start making money from the ads Google places on your videos. Building your vlog’s reputation and viewership to the level where you are making serious money from Google’s revenue sharing will take time. Starting down this path, however, is as simple as creating a Google account for your YouTube vlog, creating an AdSense account to handle your payments and uploading your first vlog post to YouTube.
Irish couple Jonathan and Anna started uploading video blogs to YouTube in 2008 – 2009 and have gradually built one of site’s most popular channels.
1. Go to YouTube.com and sign in
Go to youtube.com and click “sign in” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. From there, you’ll be taken to a Google sign-in page.
2. Head over to your YouTube settings
Click on your profile icon and then the ‘Settings’ cog icon, where you will fill in all the necessary fields to create a Google account that will also be your YouTube account. If you already have a Google account you want to use, then this step is unnecessary.
3. Click On Create your channel
Under your settings, you’ll see the option to “Create a channel,” click on this link:
The first step is to create a Brand Account. It can be whatever name you want, and doesn’t have to be the same name that you used to create your Google account — but we do recommend that it reflects the brand the YouTube Channel will represent.
Congratulations! You’ve just created a new YouTube channel…?
The perfect sizes for YouTube channel art
The best place to start with your channel art is with the optimal image size that works across multiple devices. For the best results, YouTube recommends updating a single 2560 x 1440 pixel image.
- Minimum width: 2048 X 1152 px. This is the “safe area”, where text and logos are guaranteed not to be cut off when displayed on different devices.
- Maximum width: 2560 X 423 px. This means that the “safe area” is always visible; the areas to each side of the channel art are visible depending on the viewer’s browser size.
- File size: 6MB or smaller recommended.
Once you’ve clicked this link, you’ll see a popup window that gives you the option to upload your own custom channel art. If you’d like to, you can also choose to use one of YouTube’s templates from the “Gallery” or choose to upload one of your photos from Google+.
Link your Youtube channel with Adsense
Click on “My channel” on the left side of the screen. Select the options Click on Video Manager just below the search box on top, as shown in the figure.
A navigation menu will appear on the left side. Click on the CHANNEL.
Click on “Monetization” from the list of sections on the left side of the screen, then click the blue “Enable Monetization” button.
Click “How will I be paid?” under “Guidelines and Information,” then click the link text that says “Associate an AdSense account.” Follow the instructions on the page that comes up to apply for the AdSense account through which Google will pay you for any money your videos make.
Record your video. When you are done, return to your channel page and click on the “Videos” tab. Click “Upload a Video” from the list of possible options, select your video from the window that pops up, then click “Open.”
Click the box next to “Submit this video for revenue sharing,” then answer the questions about its content. Google will not automatically approve every video you submit for monetization, but it will approve videos to which you drive significant viewership and that meet its quality guidelines.
Proceed to fill in descriptive information about the video under “Video information and privacy settings.” Use a catchy title, and common tag words, to maximize your video’s presence on search engines and YouTube search results. Choosing “Public” in your privacy options will maximize the video’s visibility and its eventual number of viewers.
Market your video. Post the video’s link on your different social media accounts as well as any blogs you maintain. You can also post the video’s link on forums you frequent, as well as email the link to different bloggers and ask them to post it on their sites. The more places on the Internet you post the video’s links, the more traffic you will drive to the video.
